Q3: what is SVHC?


SVHC (substances of very high concern) is a list of substances (substances with high toxicity to the environment or human body) that should be paid close attention to as regulated by the EU REACH regulation. The list of substances is usually added twice a year. As of July 2019, 21 batches have been announced, with 201 substances of high concern. Because the test items are much higher than RoHS substances. The cost of testing is not cheap. Usually, the manufacturer's self declaration letter is provided to prove. The detailed list of substances and the latest announcement contents are mainly announced on the official website of the European Union.
